Located within the boundary of Cortes de la Frontera and less than half an hour from Ronda, the finca looks out over panoramic views of a lovely open valley and the unspoiled green mountain ranges of Ronda towards Gaucin. The backdrop to this incredibly situated property is the imposing white mountain range known as the Sierra Blanquilla in the beautiful Sierra de Grazalema nature park, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. Ancient olive groves, almond and scented orange blossoms, natural flora and fauna, a wildlife heaven in a protected area.

This finca has a well-stocked working olive grove with over 300 trees, some planted within the last ten years and some over 100 years old. The olive oil produced from it each December is excellent. There are many fruit trees (oranges, lemons, figs, almonds, pears, grapes, cherries and apricots) near the house. The vegetable patch has not been planted this year but could easily be recovered. The land is excellent for keeping horses and is 35,420 m2 (10,000 m2 = I hectare) all fenced and accessed from a tarmac road from the village.

There is a comfortable house with a build area of 100 m2. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room with fireplace and outside a newly constructed barbecue with its own separate chimney and a store-room/solar battery house. The house is surrounded by a beautiful local stone terrace with stone steps and path down to the car-parking area at the entrance gates.

There is sweet mountain spring water in the well and mountain bore water. All can be easily pumped up to the house water deposit by simply pressing an electrical switch at the house or in the well or bore-house. The house has solar electricity with a back-up diesel generator, all newly installed. There are also many connections over the finca for hosepipes for watering the trees. There was previously an automatic irrigation pipe system for the fruit trees which could easily be re-instated.

The small pool, which is set in the stone terrace near the house, has a water cascade over the stone wall behind it. A pure natural water purification system has been installed so that there is no chlorine and chemicals in the pool water, making it virtually drinkable and any overflow can certainly be used for the garden and house.

Finca los Olivos is easily self-supporting with its income from the olive oil, different fruits and nuts all year and extremely low outgoings, e.g. own water and electricity and rates at 21 euros p.a.
